We have been little homebodies lately. We went into Portland one day last week to meet my sister who was coming into town to visit my brother. We met up at the Portland Childrens Museum and the kids had a ball. I think Mileys favorite was the water works area and Addies was the acting stage. She sang and danced her little heart out for everyone there! The other picture is random but it is our new obsession. We got a swing set ( again the grass is non existent but we shoud have new grass in a few weeks! We can't hardly wait). Even after having the swing set for a few weeks I am still tearing the girls off of it to get them in to eat or go to the bathroom or go to bed. They are obsessed and entertained for hours and I am in heaven. We recently cancelled our satellite and I don't think the girls have missed their cartoons for a minute and I have not either!

Mileys preschool graduation
After the parade we had Mileys preschool graduation. The pictures are of her getting her certificate from her teacher and then of her and her friend Sydney and then of her proud little sister giving her a big hug! We are so proud of Miley and all that she has learned and accomplished this year. I cannot believe she is almost 5. Miley has the sweetest personality and it is fun to watch her blossom into a little girl. Her favorite parts of preschoo were her music class and music teacher miss Kathy and of course the art. She loves to paint and cut and create! She is friends with everyone and has a hard time understanding why people can be unkind to one another. We are so proud of her and are so glad she is a part of our family. I am excited to have her home with me for another year before she heads off to kindergarten. I don't know what I will do without her!

Miley and the pet parade
Miley was on a float with her preschool for the Silverton annual Pet Parade. Every year the people and kids of the town bring their pets or stuffed animal and parade around town. It was so cute to see all the little kids with their dogs and cats and goats. Some even dress their animals up. It was soooooo hot outside (in the upper 90's) and Miley looked like she was baking but she was still so cute. They rode around town and she was so excited to throw candy at us. Addison was so excited to see her sister and tried to chase the float. Then of course she quickly was distracted by all the candy.
