So we have gone 3 days with no accidents until today. I had a presidency meeting and lost track of time and Addie went pee in her pants. Then this afternoon I was on the phone and I look over and Addie was doing her business. I tried to stop her and get her on the potty but it was too late. So we cleaned out her panties into the toilet and she exclaimed Yeah Mommy! You did it! Then I sit her on the potty to see if she has any more poopoos or pee and she looks down at herself and says,(sorry this is graphic), mommy, a tail. I have my own tail, like a horsey(morelike a stinky tail!). Seriously she says the silliest things. Maybe it is just silly to me and gross to you but I chusckled. The little joys of being a parent.

Funny Story
So I know I have been a slacker in the world of blogging. I have been a serious slacker in my picture taking so I have no cute pictures to post but i do have a funny experience. We have been potty training Addison over the last few days. We went to church yesterday and after the sacrament I asked her if she needed to go potty. She said yes so I took her. I do not know what it is about public toilets (maybe she knows how much I absolutely despise them) but we were in there for probably 20 minutes. It was ward conference and we missed the Bishops whole talk and the choirs musical number. She was telling stories and singing songs and telling me "it's coming mommy". Oh the joys of potty training. Finally after telling her she was done and trying to remove her from the toilet as she was screaming she decided she would poop! That was a huge accomplishment in and of itself in that she has had a hard time pooping on the potty. So we have a little party. Wash her hands and reverently walk back to the chapel. We had arrived at church late so we were in the back overflow. The second we walked in the door Addison went running screaming to daddy - "Daddy, I went poopoo in the potty!" I almost turned right back around and walked out the door. Everyone was laughing histerically. That was not the end of it though. In a slightly quieter voice she decided to tell daddy what was in her poopoo from dinner the night prior. It was great entertainment.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year to everyone! We had a quiet and relaxing New Years. On the Eve we went over to some friends house and ate lots of yummy food (prime rib) and talked and hung out. The kids played so hard they were tuckered out and crashed at 10 pm when we came home. Ben and I being the old geisers that we are went to bed shortly after. New Years Day Ben worked a side job and the girls and I worked on some New Years projects and played games and just took it easy. I have decided that is my resolution this year to slow down and enjoy the small and simple things in life!
